1798 S-161 R2 Style I Hair, Small 8 F15+. Sharpness near VF25 with uniform extremely faint roughness under rather glossy dark olive brown toning, the highpoints a lighter shade of chocolate brown. May have been lightly cleaned and retoned long ago. No verdigris, and the only marks are a couple tiny rim nicks on the right side of the obverse and a couple more at the top of the reverse. LDS, Breen state XI, with a bold cud break over ATES and severe swelling at D-ST (but only a hint of swelling at RICA and the denominator). Called VF30 net VF20 by Bland.
