1796 S-114 R5- Draped Bust Fair-2. Sharpness near VG8 where the designs were properly struck up, but the impression was uneven with significant weakness on the lower half of the obverse and top of the reverse. The planchet is covered with light roughness under slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel toning. No verdigris or marks. Very rare LDS, Breen state IV, with a large cud break connecting TY to the rim in addition to the earlier narrow rim cud left of the L. The cud break is bold but the date is gone due to the weak strike in that area.
