1794 S-23 R4+ VG7. Sharpness near F12 with shallow corrosion at the cap and several light rim bruises on both sides. The remainder of the planchet is smooth and there is no verdigris. Glossy medium brown and very light greenish olive, possibly lightly cleaned and retoned long ago. LDS, Breen state V, with all the obverse die cracks described by Breen. The date and legends are complete and clear except for weakness in the center of the reverse due to die swelling in that area.
