1793 S-11c R3- Wreath Cent with Lettered Edge VG7. Variety with a single leaf following DOLLAR. A point or two sharper overall and some of the details are close to F12, but the planchet is covered with very fine roughness. No verdigris and only a few minor marks, including a thin planchet fissure over the ON in ONE and a very thin planchet void between the T & A in STATES. Slightly glossy chocolate and steel. Possibly cleaned and retoned long ago, and there is a swipe of lacquer at the bottom of the reverse. MDS, Breen state II, with die clashmarks in the field at the throat. The date and legends are easily readable except for the denominator of the fraction, which is weak. The edge lettering is bold.
