1723 Wood's Hibernia Farthing Martin 3.1-Bc.2 Rarity-4 NGC graded AU50. Glossy chocolate and olive brown. Excellent eye appeal. The only notable marks are a thin scratch through the stop left of the date and some tiny planchet chips in the fields on the reverse. Double struck. The first strike was centered on the planchet and the second was about 5% off center to K-1.5. Ample obvious evidence of both strikes shows on both sides. The DEI GRATIA REX type. Listed on page 44 in the "Redbook."
