ASTP, 1975, 'DKS" Personalized ASTP Crew Patch (5"). This heavily embroidered A-B Emblem patch has a rectangular sticker attached to the reverse that reads: "Made in USA by A-B Emblem Corp., Weaverville NC." This patch was made specifically for Deke Slayton with his initials incorporated, in gold, into the design at the bottom. A limited number of similar patches were made for each of the American crew members of the flight. This patch is in its original clear plastic envelope as originally received by Slayton.
