Davis, Bette. Sepia-toned 14 x 11" photograph of a young Bette Davis inscribed and signed in green ink, "For Helen …from Bette Davis." Helen's last name is illegible (possibly Palmer) because it is written on the dark portion of Miss Davis' dress. Diagonal creasing in lower right corner, affecting the crook of her left elbow, and some light creasing at left margin and top, lightly touching her hair and one lightly visible crease on her lower forehead and right eyebrow. Photographer's imprint on the reverse has almost completely faded. Still a beautiful photograph and boldly signed. Estimated Value $250 - 350
