1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny Nelson-3 (the VOOE Variety) Rarity-3 PCGS graded VF35. Glossy medium brown. The obverse is smooth and choice but the reverse suffers a bit from splashes of darker chocolate toning on the upper half, and there are traces of roughness and verdigris in those darker areas. These splashes certainly catch your eye, but they are not significant enough to deter the PCGS folks from grading this piece. The date and legends are strong and the VOOE error is bold. Listed on page 49 in the "Redbook." Estimated Value $250-UP
