Lot 400

1850 N-14 R4 PCGS graded MS65 Brown. Lustrous steel brown with faded mint red covering 20% of the planchet. The surfaces are satiny and appear nearly flawless, but there are a couple very faint marks. These are an extremely faint diagonal hairline on the cheek and a very light pin scratch at the dentils over OF-AM. M-LDS, die state b late. The die lines at the throat and ICA are gone and the fields are flowlined, but there are no cud breaks on the reverse. Our grade is MS62+, close to MS63, and CC#3 in the Grellman census. Estimated Value $850-UP
