1893 World's Congress of Beauty Medal, Eglit-579. Brass, 34mm, reeded edge. Obvervse view of Exposition Bulding. The side of the building is inscribed "World's Congress of Beauty International Dress & Costume Co." The reverse has a hanging banner engraved, "Edward J Langon Quartette". This medal is exceptionally rare. Some researchers speculate there may only be two or three known including this one and the one listed in Eglit. Our grade is Brilliant Proof. Estimated Value $500-UP
