1801 S-223 R1 Error Fraction 1/000 PCGS Genuine, AU Details, Smoothed. Sharpness at least EF40 but this cent was lightly burnished and has retoned very nicely to an attractive glossy chocolate brown and steel. Hints of very faded red show around the portrait and there are traces of darker reddish chocolate toning in protected areas under UNIT. A minor rim nick under the second 1 in the date is the only notable sign of contact. E-MDS, Breen state II, showing a minor rim cud at RT in LIBERTY. The 1/000 error denominator is strong. Our grade is net VF30. The attribution and error fraction feature are noted on the PCGS label. Estimated Value $500-UP
