1798 S-157 R2 Small 8 with Style I Hair F12. A few points sharper but covered with microscopic roughness hidden under medium chocolate and olive brown toning. No verdigris or marks. M-LDS, Breen state III late. The disjointed crack from the rim to the neck is strong and small lumps from die rust show on the bust and obverse fields. The date and legends are complete and clear. Nice for the grade in spite of the imperfect surfaces. Estimated Value $300-UP
