Lot 1434

1892. PCGS graded MS-67. CAC Approved. Wonderful rainbow toning on both sides. Bright silver color bursts forth from its hiding place behind the colorful toning on this handsome coin whose original surfaces remain unmarred post-striking handling. A strong strike as expected for a Philadelphia Mint issue, making this a desirable superb specimen. Incorporating the familiar Barber design of 1892 to 1916, this displays a precision strike on the legends and main device, which is always appreciated by buyers of high-quality coins, and not even a trace of soft detail at Liberty or eagle. Pop 23; 4 finer, 1 in 67+, 2 in 68, 1 in 68+. (PCGS # 5601) Estimated Value $5,000 - 5,500
