1787 Massachusetts Half Cent Ryder 6-A Rarity-5 F15. Sharpness EF40 but dark with dull, finely granular surfaces. No marks or verdigris. Dull dark olive brown and steel, closer to black than brown. Nicely struck with strong date and legends, including HALF CENT on the shield. Listed on page 59 in the "Redbook." Weight 73.0 grains.
