1828. Square Base 2, Small 8's, Large Letters. PCGS graded AU-53. Basically untoned. Lots of experimentation went on with font sizes and numeral punches in 1828, providing collectors a plethora of varieties. A similar occurence took place in 1834 on the Bust Half Dollar (PCGS # 6151) .
