1785 Connecticut Mailed Bust Right Miller 3.2-L Rarity-4+ VF25. Sharpness near EF40 but covered with fine roughness. No verdigris. The only marks are a tiny rim bruise at the first N in CONNEC and a couple small planchet voids on the reverse, the largest at the waist of the seated figure. Slightly glossy light olive brown and chocolate with traces of reddish chocolate in a few protected areas on the obverse. Nicely centered, the date and legends complete and clear. Struck with the reverse rotated 30 degrees CW relative to a normal head-to-foot die orientation. Listed on pages 60-61 in the "Redbook." Weight 142.6 grains.
