1849 N-27 R4 AU50. Doubled Die Reverse. Frosty chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter toning on the 184 thanks to a rub in that area. No spots or stains, only a few tiny nicks, none notable. MDS, die state b. The spike down from the dentils at star 9 is visible and die rust is visible around much of the legend outside the wreath. The doubling on the reverse is clear, strongest at STATES. A variety that is difficult to find nice, only two known in mint state.
