Lot 4772

Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1925. S.4021A; ESC-772; KM-818.2. George V. Obverse: Portrait of king left by Bertram Mackennal. Reverse: Crowned shield within garter. The key date of the series, and a well struck example. Often, a 1925 Halfcrown is uncirculated, but poorly made. This is a particularly sharply struck specimen with good detail on the king's portrait. One for the specialist. NGC graded MS-65.
Estimated Value $1,300 - 1,500.

Realized $2,415
