Great Britain. Shilling, 1727. S.3698; ESC-1190: KM-561.1. George II. Laureate armored bust left. Reverse: Cruciform shields with roses and plumes in angles. Brilliant mint state and fully lustrous. Struck on a broad flan, fully lustrous and with a little toning at the edges. This is about as good as Shillings of this era come. The very early George II Shillings can no longer be found in this condition. NGC graded MS-63.
