Nero Claudius Drusus, brother of Tiberius, father of Germanicus and Claudius, died 9 BC. AE Sestertius (26.8 g) minted at Rome under Claudius, AD 42-43. Bare head of Nero Claudius Drusus left, smaller letters in legend. Reverse: Claudius seated left on a curule chair, holding a branch and roll; globe below with weapons and armor around. RIC (Claudius) 93. Some areas of weakness. Glossy dark greenish-brown patina. Outstanding portrait. Choice Very Fine/Fine.
