Divus Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Copper As (10.6g; 29mm). Rome mint. Struck under Tiberius, ca. AD 22-30. Radiate head of Augustus facing left. Reverse: Facade of altar-enclouser of the Ara Providentiae Augusti with double panelled door and horns of the altar visible above. Sear 1789; RIC 81. Dark greenish-brown patina with areas of apple green. Very Fine.
