Jewish Reference Coins. Gnaeus Pompey Junior, elder son of Pompey the Great. Silver Denarius (3.7g). Mint of Spain, 46-45 BCE. Helmeted head of Roma facing right. Reverse: Hispania standing right presenting palm-branch to Pompeian soldier standing left on prow of galley. Craw. 469/1a; Sear 1384. Some areas of flatness as made. Scarce. Very Fine.
