Persian Period. Achaemenid Empire. Xerxes II to Artaxerxes II, ca. 420-375 BCE. Gold Daric (8.3g). Persian king/hero in a kneeling, running stance right, holding a spear and bow; quiver over shoulder. Reverse: Incuse punch. Hendin p. 104, plate 4.1. Well centered on a large flan. Choice Very Fine.
