Attica, Athens, 440-404 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (17.18g). Head of Athena right, wearing crested helmet ornamented with three olive-leaves and floral scroll. Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; to r. AOE; to l. olive-twig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr Group after 449 BC. Well centered and very choice, lightly toned. NGC graded AU; Strike: 4/5, Surface: 5/5.
