It certainly lays claim to beauty uncompromised by the vicissitudes of time. In short, a joy to behold. View this coin under low magnification lingering for a while on the finest of details, bearing in mind that they were done at the hand of an expert mint engraver William Barber, father of the following chief engraver at the US Mint in Philadelphia, Charles E.
