1858 Liberty Seated Half Dime. NGC graded MS-67. Lovely rainbow toning. This is a superb blemish-free case in point of the With Stars Half Dime (1840-59) in this grade: sleek pastel colors, with mint bloom that captures the full effect of the careful preservation since it was made. We leave behind the pristine surface and luster though we might linger with further narrative, and move on to the devices. Even the most delicate detail seen on this coin shows it was made with uncommon exactness for the issue. Pop 25; 4 finer in 68.
