Lot 2538

1911-S Lincoln Cent. PCGS graded MS-65 Red. Well struck with even Mint Red. Many of the early Lincoln Cents are quite difficult to find in Gem, full red condition, with the 1911-S being no exemption from this rule of thumb. A lower mintage issue, 4,026,000 pieces, were struck at San Francisco this year. The strike is top notch on this high quality semi-key both boldly impressed and splendid in its coppery red sheath that equally gleams from each side. Pop 58; 13 finer, 2 in 65+RD, 11 in 66RD (PCGS # 2449) .
Estimated Value $2,100 - 2,200.

Realized $2,128
