1794 S-20b R5 Head of 1793 NGC Good Details, Environmental Damage. The obverse has the details of VG7 while the reverse details are a little weaker, perhaps rating G5. But the planchet is dark and covered with microscopic granularity that dulls the natural gloss. There are a few minor contact marks hidden under the patina but no verdigris. EDS, Breen die state I. The date is clear and the legends, although weak, remain readable with some effort. Our grade is net G4. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
