1793 S-3 R3- Chain AMERICA. PCGS graded VG8. Sharpness near F15 but the surfaces are covered with light roughness, strongest at AMERI. There are faint hints of shallow dark greenish verdigris in some of the protected areas, none visible without the aid of a glass, and just a few contact marks. The notable ones are a couple short scratches at the first S in STATES and a rim nick at the F in OF. Slightly glossy dark steel and olive brown. The date and legends are complete and clear, although AMERI is relatively weak due to the increased roughness in that area. Overall rather decent for the PCGS grade. Our grade is net VG8.
