1908 $20 St. Gaudens. No motto. PCGS graded MS-65. Anoher lovely golden gem. There is much to say about the beautiful surfaces of this 1908 $20 since they are nearly superb, a quality almost unavailable. The mint frost is smooth and satin-like with intensity over each side. There is just a bit of light patina as well. Broadly struck, and unlike some which have the faintest touch of weakness at the centers, this exemplary coin is bold (PCGS # 9142) .
