Lot 1655
1882-CC $10 Liberty. PCGS graded AU-58. Only 6,764 struck. Choice reflective surfaces. This is a very attractive piece that is fully struck and has reasonably bright color with incredibly smooth satiny to reflective (and abundant) mint luster remaining on each side. Very few marks or abrasions are in the fields. Also, the viewer is invited to enjoy the coin’s boldly struck detail, as near to an Uncirculated example as one could hope for. The low mintage ensures that this Carson City issue will always be a favorite with collectors. Pop 14; 1 finer in 61 as the only Mint State example graded at PCGS (PCGS # 8696) . Estimated Value $9,000 - 10,000.
