1846-O $10 Liberty. NGC graded EF-45. Abundant luster retained in the fields and throughout the devices. Normal light surface abrasions that go with this grade and early period in America’s gold coinage. Simply transporting bags or smaller groups of such coins by horse and wagon over rough roads in those days must have taken a toll! Pop 42; 59 finer (PCGS # 8595) .
