1795 Washington Liberty and Security Halfpenny with Lettered Edge Breen-1260 EF45. Choice glossy medium chocolate brown with mint frost in protected areas. The fields are hard and slightly reflective giving this piece excellent eye appeal. There is very little wear on this piece and you could easily justify a slightly higher grade. The only marks are a couple tiny ticks inside the shield and a fine hairline on the eagle's right wing, none significant. The head of Washington and the areas opposite the portrait on the reverse are softly struck, as usual on this type, but everything else is sharp. Listed on pages 83-4 in the "Redbook." Weight 119.1 grains.
