1895 $2.5 Liberty. NGC graded MS-64 PL. 6,000 pieces minted and a sharply made example whose prooflike field gives a nice contrast to the frosted devices. Well struck. Very choice (almost in the Gem class). Pop 1; 2 finer, 1 in 66PL, 1 in 67PL. Only 3 graded in PL at NGC.
