1846-D $2.50 Liberty. NGC graded AU-50. Attractively toned. Only 19,303 minted. Scarce. Weakly struck, particularly on the reverse, and moderate wear for the grade, some luster evident within the stars and legends. Smooth surfaces; blemish-free rims. The obverse is much bolder (with squared-off rims) than the reverse (PCGS # 7742) .
