Mir Flown Film Backing, Mir was launched on 2/20/86 and was manned for twelve and a half years. The station was launched from pad LC-200/39, and LC-81/23, Baikonur Cosmodrome. As many may recall older film cameras used a paper film backing to help feed the film into the camera. This is a segment of film backing that was used aboard Mir by the Expedition 5 crew.
