1812 S-288 R2 Turban Head, Large Date. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. CAC Approved. Choice lustrous light steel brown offering great eye appeal. Essentially flawless. LDS, Breen state III. Perhaps half of the dentils remain visible on both sides and the tops of S-OF-A are flowing into the rim. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#5 in the Bland/Breen census. Called AU55 Average Plus and tied for CC#6 in the Noyes census, photo #39131. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Paul Gerrie provenance are shown on the PCGS label. Pop 1; the Finest graded at PCGS .
