1840 N-5 R1 Large Date EF40. Sharpness near AU50 but toned an odd reddish chocolate mixed with medium chocolate brown. No significant contact marks; however there is a dusting of very fine greenish verdigris near the dentils at the bottom of the reverse and traces of microscopic roughness in a few places. Otherwise smooth. LDS, die state c, showing several small but clearly defined rim cud breaks from star 6 to star 9.
