Lot 502
1839 N-8 R1 Head of 1840 AU50. Mint state sharpness but dipped long ago, now retoned lustrous medium brown and reddish chocolate with hints of golden tan on the reverse. No spots. The only marks are microscopic traces of very light smoothing on the rims. Nicely struck MDS.
