1838 N-6 R1. NGC graded MS-62 Brown. Lustrous medium brown and light chocolate with a couple small puffs of darker olive brown toning on the obverse and a few more on the reverse. A small area of the darker toning at the IB in LIBERTY and a tiny vertical nick above the right end of the nostril can help identify this cent. Satiny mint frost covers the fields and protected areas. LDS. The point from the leaf under the R in AMERICA is gone and a clear die clashmark arcs through the tip of the nose. Our grade is MS60.
