1837 N-5 R2 Plain Hair Cord, Small Letters EF40. Five points sharper but there is a small splash of reddish chocolate toning between star 7 and the top of the head, and this area contains traces of extremely fine verdigris. Otherwise this cent is choice glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Satiny luster covers the fields on both sides. A tiny nick on the upper lip and a thin planchet void on the second T in STATES are the only other marks. Excellent eye appeal for the grade. M-LDS.
