Julia Domna, wife of Septimius Severus. AR Denarius (3.5g). Struck at Rome, AD 207. Draped bust of Julia Domna right. Reverse: Tellus reclining l. beneath tree, her left arm resting on basked of fruit, her right hand on starry globe around which are four small figures representing the Seasons. Cohen 35. RIC 549. Sear 6579. Very rare. Well centered on a large flan, all lightly toned. Choice Very Fine.
