Sicily, Siculo-Punic. Silver Tetradrachm (16.7g) struck ca. 300-289 BC. Head right of Melqart-Herakles, wearing lion-skin. Reverse: Head left of horse; to left, grain-ear; to right, palm tree; below neck truncation, Punic inscription 'MHMHNT (People of the Camp). Jenkins, Punic, 293 (O93/R241). Some flatness on the bottom portions as struck. Extremely Fine.
