Sicily, Syrakuse. Agathokles, 317-289 BC. Electrum 25 Litrai (3.57g) struck ca. 306/5 BC. Laureate head of Apollo left; in right field, horse head right. Reverse: Tripod. SNG ANS 631; SNG Cop 706. Thin edge split upper reverse. Well struck and fine style. Nicely toned, a delightful example. Extremely Fine.

This type, somewhat anomalous in the Syrakuse series, is often cataloged as a 50 Litrai (same weight).
