1801 S-219 R2 3-Error Reverse VG8+. Close to VG10 but there are some thin nicks in the field before the chin and mouth plus a few minor nicks elsewhere on both sides. Glossy steel and chocolate brown. An attractive example for the grade in spite of the contact marks. LDS, Breen state VIII. The die cracks on the lower left part of the reverse are strong and a sunken retained cud break affects UNI and part of the denominator. The date is bold, the legends are clear, and all three of the die cutter errors are obvious. Removed from an old PCGS slab graded VG10 (old green PCGS label included).
