Lot 309

1800 S-202 R4+ F12. Sharpness VF20 or slightly better but the obverse fields have been lightly smoothed (for no apparent reason) leaving traces of fine hairlines. No roughness or verdigris and only trivial, very light contact marks. Recolored glossy dark steel and chocolate with lighter brown and tan toning in protected areas. Nicely struck EDS, Breen state I. The always-present die clashmark at OF is strong but there is no trace of swelling on the reverse.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.

Realized $1,553
