1798/7 S-151 R3 Style I Hair, Overdate 8 over 7 VG7. A few points sharper but covered with uniform very fine roughness under a glossy olive brown patina. No marks or notable signs of verdigris. The date is bold, the overdate is obvious, and the legends are complete. MDS, Breen state II, with minor swelling at D-ST and fine die cracks in the field behind the portrait. Comes with a nice provenance.
