1798 S-149 R4+ Large 8, Style I Hair AG3. Several points sharper in some areas on the reverse but the details are uneven. Covered with fine roughness and there are two small spots of verdigris at the nose. No contact marks. Cleaned and mostly retoned slightly glossy dark olive and chocolate with lighter brown highlights from the cleaning. The middle two digits of the date are weak and essentially unreadable due to the roughness, but the other two are fairly clear. LDS, Breen state III, with swelling on the reverse that caused the uneven wear on that side.
