Two Obsoletes. The following two Obsoletes are contained in this lot: Boston, MA - Boston Bank $2 Oct. 3, 1825, Very Good+; Amherst, NH – Hillsborough Bank $1 Jan. 23, 1807, Very Good. These notes were engraved in the Perkins plate style in an attempt to deter counterfeiters. The New Hampshire note displays edge damage, including tears and an internal tear. Lot of 2 notes.
