1793/2 Washington Ship Halfpenny Breen-1225 PCGS Genuine, AU Details Cleaning. Glossy chocolate and steel with traces of faded red tucked into protected areas on both sides. Certainly cleaned and retoned but the color is attractive. Of more importance is the planchet lamination that slants across the obverse from K-11 to K-4 (as struck). Early die state with minimum swelling on the reverse and the bottom of the 2 still visible at the base of the 3 (3 over 2 overdate).
